We will provide a perspective on walking together and understanding the different ways we observe the marine environment and in particular the djildjit - fish.

Over the last 7 years we have worked together to develop new western ways of counting fish - developed resources through our Waatu Kaartdijin marine education program - also worked towards communicating the impact of colonisation on our marine environment.

We will provide examples and lessons from our cross-cultural journey and marine educational outreach so far.
