Travel back in time to become part of The Dreaming and gain a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture with Ngunawal Traditional Custodian and guide, Tyronne Bell. Experience examples of Aboriginal occupation in the Canberra region: Aboriginal sites including a rock shelter, the cultural landscape, artefacts and bush foods. What to wear/bring: comfortable, protective/layered clothing (a waterproof jacket as conditions can suddenly change); sturdy enclosed walking shoes; hat & sunscreen; a backpack to carry bottled water and food/a snack.
9:30 AM - Participants picked up from QT Canberra
10:15 AM - Arrive at Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre
10:30 AM - Commence walk (Birrigai Time Trail), stopping at various points of interest along the trail
12:30 PM - Return to where the walk commenced (Lunch break - lunch not provided, BYO welcome)
1:30 PM - Conclude/depart Tidbinbilla Visitor Centre
2:15 PM - Arrive back at QT Canberra
