Arnica D Mortillero

I graduated with PhD Environmental Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and am currently working on Natural Capital Accounting, with a focus on resource valuation and ecosystem service accounting. I have been engaged recently in marine-related conservation projects with extension components that further enhanced my knowledge and interest in coastal-marine ecosystems. Working with partners under the Marine Resources Initiative funded by the Australian Government, I am part of the team who is conducting a smaller on-going research under MRI called "Seascapes and Marine Ecosystem Services Accounting/Valuation in West-offshore Palawan, Philippines" or SEAWORTH Project to which the paper submitted is part of its humble contribution. I am now venturing into more similarly related fields, such as being engaged with the London School of Economics for health-related ecosystem service assessments provided by coastal-marine ecosystems.
