Numan Al Kibriya
I am a PhD student at UNSW Canberra, working on sediment dynamics in the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM) Delta, with a focus on coastal processes along the Bay of Bengal. My research examines how declining sediment flux, driven by upstream interventions and climate driven sea level rise, affects delta stability and morphology. I use hydro morphodynamic modelling with Delft3D FM to simulate sediment transport and analyse patterns of erosion and accretion.
