Jessica M. Skinner-Bless
Jessica Skinner-Bless is a Master’s by coursework and dissertation student at the University of Western Australia (UWA), where she is a member of the Marine Ecology Group (MEG) Lab. She holds two First State Examinations from Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg and Julius-Maximilians University Würzburg in Germany, specialising in Geography, English, Art History, and Educational Studies. She also completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management at the University of Wales, Cardiff.
Her interdisciplinary background spanning the humanities, social sciences, and business equips her with a distinctive perspective on marine research. Jessica’s current Master’s dissertation investigates allometric relationships in Pink Snappers (Chrysophrys auratus). She is presenting her findings on this topic at the conference and is keen to connect with fellow researchers in marine ecology and fisheries science.
