Sarah Kachovich
Dr Sarah Kachovich is an Australian micropaleontologist(radiolarians) and science leader specialising in biostratigraphy and the use of microfossils to reconstruct Earth’s environmental and geological history. She is the Program Manager for the Australian and New Zealand International Scientific Drilling Consortium, which coordinates regional participation in both ocean and continental scientific drilling programs. With more than a decade of experience in scientific ocean drilling, she has sailed on six expeditions aboard the JOIDES Resolution, contributing as a scientist, technician, and science communicator. Her work integrates research, program leadership, and outreach, supporting international collaboration and advancing understanding of Earth’s past climates, environments and dynamics.
