Sarah Keenihan

Sarah commenced a PhD at the Australian National Centre for Public Awareness of Science in 2026 with a focus on exploring how South Australia's harmful algal bloom (HAB) offers an opportunity to explore how communities view science, and understand local impacts and experiences of climate change. She previously obtained a PhD in reproductive immunology and B Med Sci (hons) at the University of Adelaide and has worked as an immunology researcher and a science writer. Sarah was employed at The Conversation Australia as Life Sciences Editor in the Health and Medicine team, and as Section Editor, Science and Technology.
