Paula Piquero
I’m an outdoors enthusiast from Colombia who discovered my love for nature through hiking and diving. I hold a degree in Business with a focus on Finance from Los Andes University in Bogotá and have over three years of experience in climate economics, biodiversity finance, and impact investment. In 2024, I moved to Australia to pursue a Master’s in Environmental Management at the University of Queensland, deepening my technical expertise in the natural sciences of marine ecosystems. During my final year, I completed my thesis with the Marine Spatial Ecology Lab, using predictive models to assess reef connectivity and its implications for effective management.
