Achievements • Awarded Senior Research Fellowship by CSIR during 2019. • Awarded the best student paper award for oral presentation under the theme biogeochemistry for the paper “Spatial and temporal variations of colored dissolved organic matter in the estuarine and coastal waters of Goa” during OSICON, 2015. • Awarded the best student paper award for oral presentation under the theme for the paper “Influence of Subsurface Chlorophyll Maxima on the Chlorophyll Derived from the Satellite Data” during OSICON, 2013. Work Experience • Research Scientist, CSIRO Environment, Australia (November 2023) • Worked on the project “Plausible role of organic nitrogen in occurrence of phytoplankton blooms in the eastern Arabian Sea” funded by Department of Science and Technology under the Guidance of Dr. Suhas Shetye. My specific role was the quantification and estimation of phytoplankton pigments using the high-performance liquid chromatography at CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula Goa (May 2022 - April 2023). • Senior Research Fellow, CSIR- National Institute of Oceanography, Goa (2019- 2022) • • Worked under various projects funded by Space Application Centre (ISRO), INCOIS, in the field of bio-optical studies at CSIR- National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula Goa, at the Marine Instrumentation Division (Sep 2011- Sep 2016), Ocean Color Group under the guidance of Dr. T Suresh.
